Once you enter the penthouse, you would be in the foyer. There will be a bench, and unless medical reasons exists, you would be asked to take off your shoes, and keep them in the foyer. There will also be a coat rack for coats (obviously), and backpacks. If you need to wear your shoes, there will be a disposable fabric like shoe cover that you would wear. When you leave, you would take off the cover, and this will keep the penthouse clean of any exterior debris.
