Each secondary bedroom will be much the same. This is designed to not play favorites if I should have children. As with all bedrooms, there must be two means of egress which will be the door, and a window to go to the outdoor space on the main level. The bedroom will have the ability to lock the bedroom, and a doorbell to notify the child there is someone needing their attention in a matter. Even though I can access any room of my penthouse, I will give the child’s right to privacy unless there is an imperative issue or they broke the trust enough to not warrant privacy.
There will be a full size bed, and on each side of the bed will be a nightstand. They can place their bedroom’s phone on one nightstand, and their cellular devices on the other. Each side of the bed will also have 2 under side drawers to replace the need for a dresser. On the opposite side of the bed is the TV wall. This will may have a 40″ TV, or it may not. Again, the child has to earn their TV, and smartTV access to apps. They will be allowed to watch TV in the great room, and not when they should be sleeping.
Along the TV wall, there will be a corner desk that would provide a place for their computer. There will also be a thunderbolt dock that they can use. When they plug into the dock, they will automatically be connected to the network via a wired connection which will give the best results. This is intended for the child to store items they need to be kept safe, and well protected.
