The bedroom will be larger than the secondary bedrooms. This is done with purpose. Most likely, it will be just me sleeping in the bedroom. If I was to get a significant other, then she will likely be sleeping with me in the bed I will share with her. Each side of the bed will be a nightstand. Each nightstand will have the ability to store a phone, watch and any other electronic items. Unless Senitrus exist, I will have an iPhone Pro Max, Apple Watch SE, and earphones. The significant other may have other devices that would need to charge during the night. There will be an FM Radio with an alarm clock. This will make it easier for me to fall asleep without using my data. There is a telephone dedicated for that bedroom. That would be on my nightstand since I might need to address an emergency telephone call with regards to the apartment. I will acquire a gun license, and have a handheld to protect my well being, and the lives of any children I might have. Under the mattress and within the frame of the bed, there will be 3 drawers on each side of the bed. These drawers will be intended for storing folded clothes. One drawer can be socks, and underwear, where another drawer is shirts, and the last one for pants.
Across from the bed will be an 60″ TV with an Apple TV box connecting to the TV. This is to allow for viewing any content before going to bed. Obviously, if I have a significant other, I would respect her desire to sleep when I might be awake. I personally don’t use the TV in the bedroom, nor do I miss a TV in the bedroom. At each corner on the wall with the TV, there will be a corner desk. I will have one, and my signifiant other will have the other one. There will be a thunderbolt docking station, and plugging in the docking station will connect you to the network via an ethernet cable. There will also be other ports, an SD card reader, and an NVME? slot for a drive. The slot will have a Western Digital Black NVME which will store files that I don’t need on my PC, but will like access to them. This could include my web project files, and/or my letters.
There will also be a door to a semi-private deck which is on the roof of the guest wing. If I can’t sleep, and want to go outside, I won’t have to go to the main level to go to the patio. Likewise, if I had a significant other, she could choose to do the same thing. There will be an outdoor access point to provide network access to the people in the penthouse.
At the bedroom door, there will be a doorbell for any child to wake me with a problem. This will be essential because there is no clear definition on what an emergency will be, but if there is one at 2AM, they will need to wake me to address it properly. Any issue that would need to be addressed, can be addressed efficiently, and within a reasonable amount of time. There will also be a closet with 2 safes. Each safe will have a key, and support biometrics. This is intended for the child to store items they need to be kept safe, and well protected.
