There will be a 10 person dining room table with the appropriate number of chairs to support for 10 people. Assuming a full family, there will be 6 people which leaves space for 4 more people for the holidays. There will be a china cabinet which will hold special dishware that would be for special occasions. There are no communications lines, and in a matter of fact, there is no telephone allowed at the table with exception of mine if I need to answer an emergency call. This allows the family to be a family as the good ole’ days of no cellular phones.
If I was to find a gaming group that would want me to host, we will use the dining area. While I can’t control people, I will ask that phones are on silent, or DND and wait until after the gaming session to address non-emergencies. With that said, the only line I will answer will be the emergency apartment line. This will be due to my potential role that I will play within the realty company.
