The primary bathroom will allow you to enter right from the entry door. This is a similar design to the apartment’s SRO?s. When you walk in, you would turn your body to get the bathroom door. Once you enter, there will be a toilet closet which will allow you to have some privacy while using the toilet. I am sure my signifiant other wouldn’t want to see me sitting on the toilet while she is doing her makeup. Go beyond the toilet closet, you would have a double sink so both myself and my significant other can do what needs to be done without having to wait. Behind where you would stand will be an open closet with shelves for storing bath items such as towels, wash cloths, razor blades, shaving cream, toilet paper, and I am sure you get the idea. For toilet paper, there will be an unopened package of a 12 count of toilet paper. Once that package is opened, there will be a need to get more toilet paper. On the other side of the sink will lie a shower. The shower will have corner shelves for things such as soaps, razors, and so on. There will be a mirror that would resist fogging up for shaving purposes.
The light will turn on automatically when you walk in. You can go to the shower, and turn on the light for the shower which will be in special housing for water issues. The shower itself is a rain style shower which will allow you to have the water fall on you as if you were standing in a rain. Obviously, this is not ideal when lathering up, but there is enough room to step out of the shower’s location, and then use the soap to bathe. You can then stand into the rainfall shower’s path to rinse off completely. On the other side of the shower faucet (and mirror) will be a seat so someone with physical limitations can sit in the shower only to stand when rinsing off.
The primary bathroom will have solar tube lighting for the day time. This will reduce the need for turning on an electrical switch. It will also save on the burn hours of the light bulb. With solar tube lighting, it will also save on the electric bill even though I am confident that a 43 story apartment building with more than 600 households will have an electric bill in the thousands even with the energy saving measures. There will also be a bluetooth speaker that the handheld will pair via bluetooth. This will allow the handheld to be outside of the bathroom, and let the waterproof speaker deal with the steam and water.
